According to the previous reports, the device is expected to be coming in three different models with an entry-level model number of SM-G970x and while the other two are SM-G973x and SM-G975x. But come 2019, Samsung will launch a flat 5.8-inch Galaxy S10 version, per ETNews, which should be good news to those Samsung fans who prefer flat screens over curved ones.

Among other developments, Samsung is set to bring the Galaxy S10 in Black, Green, White, and Yellow colour options, reports SamMobile, There could also be some gradient colour jobs on the reported colour options to match the ongoing trend. While the rumor mill had suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will offer an Infinity-O display, some others suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will offer a display with "punch hole" to deliver enhanced viewing experience. Remember, it's supposed to be Samsung's first phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

To date, we have heard about three Galaxy S10 models. A separate 5G model might even debut in March alongside the Galaxy F foldable phone, SamMobile noted.

Samsung will sell three Galaxy S10 models next year, including a budget model and two premium phones, various reports have claimed in the past few months. Now codenamed "Beyond X" behind the scenes, this is the variant that will reportedly house 5G support, a dual front-facing camera setup and four lenses on the rear.

The camera is positioned in the top left corner of the display, just as the patent drawings showed (and unlike the Galaxy A8s). The company is also reportedly focusing on less expensive mobile offerings to boost sales across tiers and regions. Remember when HTC was a monstrous brand in Android smartphones? As mentioned by ETNews, one of the Samsung Galaxy S10 may have a flat screen while the second variant will stick with the curved screen. The flat screen model is said to feature a 5.8-inch canvas.
