Samsung says the new NPU will allow the Exynos 9820 to run AI tasks seven times faster than the Exynos 9810. So, Samsung's upcoming foldable Galaxy F and the Galaxy S10 will likely use this chip, and therefore won't be 5G-ready.

Notably, the 9820 brings a 15 percent improvement in multi-core performance as well as a 40 percent increase in power efficiency. On Wednesday, Samsung officially unveiled its next-generation system-on-a-chip for smartphones, the Exynos 9820. Now that the open beta update will be rolling out to the eligible devices in another one day, it won't be wrong to expect that stable build to head to these phones soon, possibly by the end of this month or by mid-December.

According to the Twitter tipster, who has an nearly impeccable track record when it comes to forecasting the next-generation hardware from Samsung, the Galaxy S10 will have a three camera set-up on the back of the phone which will consist of a wide-angle, a telephoto lens and a primary shooter. The device could house a dual-camera setup at the back and support a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

Samsung usually reveals the next Galaxy S phone sometime in the beginning of the year. This would make the sensor more accurate than current in-display sensors - not to mention easier to use. Samsung unveiled One UI, its new smartphone user interface, on November 7, which is a redesign intended for big-screen Samsung phones.

The series itself is expected to consist of three models, with the most affordable one reportedly marking Samsung's return to flat screens in the high-end segment of the market.

Evan Blass claims that the smartphone will have a "punch hole" near the top of its display which will house the front camera.
