Trade grades: Cowboys get their WR, Raiders loading up on picks

The Raiders now own three No. 1 picks in the 2019 draft - their own, one from the Chicago Bears in the Mack deal and now the Cowboys' top pick.

The Cowboys have gone with a committee-like approach at receiver this season since parting ways with former No. 1 option Dez Bryant in April.

The Cowboys now sit at 3-4 with the NFL's 29th-ranked offense. He's no Odell Beckham, but he does give the Cowboys a reliable weapon that can hurt the Eagles where they're most vulnerable. If their scoring unit is unable to turn things around in 2018, the Raiders could be acquiring a top-10 pick in next April's draft.

Cooper has shown star flashes in his career with over 1,000 yards receiving in each of his first two seasons, but he dropped to 680 yards last season. He had no catches and was targeted just once in Oakland's loss to the Seahawks last week.

The Cowboys' trio of offseason additions - Allen Hurns, Deonte Thompson and Tavon Austin - have combined for 32 catches, 391 yards and 3 touchdowns as the receiver snaps have been split relatively evenly these first seven games. The Cowboys are going into their bye week, and the Raiders are returning from their break to face Indianapolis at home Sunday.

Messonnier said West Nile virus , which had been listed as a possible cause on CDC's website , is also not causing the illnesses. CNN found that Colorado had 14 confirmed cases, more than any other state, followed by Texas with eight and Minnesota with six.

While the compensation was much better than most expected, it now seems that the downtrodden Raiders are going into fire-sale mode ahead of the October 30 trade deadline.

In 48 games, Galloway caught 151 passes for 2,341 yards and 12 touchdowns.

This seems like a pretty good haul for the Raiders, who have now collected three first rounders this season via trade.

Trading first-round picks for wide receivers hasn't worked out well for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.
