The press conference, which was about the new trade deal between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, features a moment in which President Donald Trump called on a female reporter for a question.

She's like in a state of shock, ' Trump said Monday as ABC News reporter Cecilia Vega remained seated and looked around for a staffer to hand her a microphone. "She's like in a state of shock", Trump said of ABC's Cecelia Vega. "No, I'm not, thank you, Mr. President", Vega replied.

Trump replied, "I know you're not thinking". But Trump brushed off her request, telling her to just "go ahead" with her question.

Later, Collins attempted to change the subject to ask two questions about the Kavanaugh investigation, and Trump wasn't having it.

There's a pattern: President Trump has a habit of belittling women he is scared of and women he can not control.

The president added, "No, go ahead".

Late-night host Seth Meyers also spoke about it during his show Monday night, saying, "I mean, how much of a sexist d- can you possibly be?"
