The FBI is now investigating sexual assault allegations against the current federal appeals court judge.

Trump was egged on by his MS supporters, as he repeatedly made fun of Ford's testimony about being sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh. specifically her claim that she only had one beer at the party where it allegedly took place.

"I don't remember", he replied in the Ford voice.

He reiterated his earlier claims Tuesday that nowadays you are "guilty until proven innocent", and stepped up his line of argument that men are under attack in America, without mentioning survivors of sexual assault.

Imitating her, he said: "But I had one beer - that's the only thing I remember".

In a separate statement on Twitter, John Clune, who represents another accuser, Deborah Ramirez, said Federal Bureau of Investigation agents interviewed her on Sunday and accepted a list of more than 20 witnesses who can support her allegations.

"My whole life, I've heard you're innocent until proven guilty".

"Mom, a bad thing just happened", Trump said. "However, if his nomination were to fall short, I would encourage President Trump to re-nominate Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court". Kavanaugh has denied all the allegations against him. It really does. You could be somebody that was ideal your entire life, and somebody could accuse you of something.

Kavanaugh Hearing: A Nation Is Riveted As Christine Blasey Ford Testifies
Ms Ford's voice cracked as she spoke to the Senate Judiciary Committee, calling Mr Kavanaugh "the boy who sexually assaulted me". Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual misconduct by two other women, putting his nomination for the high court at risk.

"I'm very disappointed that she's sided with her party's leadership and opposed the Trump Administration against the best interests of Missouri at every turn. The interaction with the members was sharp and partisan, and that concerns me", Flake said.

After the shocking mockery, Trump went on to defend Kavanuagh by saying his life was "shattered" from Dr. Ford's claims.

Officials said Trump is seeking to boost Hyde-Smith as close as possible to the 50 percent threshold and lend momentum for a possible runoff.

"I drank beer with my friends".

U.S. Senator Tim Scott say he'll vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the United State Supreme Court, but says it was not an easy decision to make for him.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-K.Y.) said Tuesday that the results of the FBI investigation into allegations made against Brett Kavanaugh will not be available to the public.

The presumption of innocence, Trump noted, seems to erode at a moment's notice once somebody brings sexual assault allegations against an individual, as in the case of Judge Kavanaugh, who is being accused of misconduct that allegedly occurred over three decades ago. "Will you send a message to the tens of millions of American women and men who are victims of sexual violence that their experiences will be met with indifference and even disbelief?"
