Dutta had recently alleged that Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of the film Horn "Ok" Please.

Salman Khan has become the latest star to wade in on the controversy relating to Tanushree Dutta's sexual allegations against Nana Patekar. Post her allegations against the veteran actor, many have come out in support of the actress.

When Rajendra was asked about Nana's version of the incident he told India Today, "Nana says that there is no question of him molesting her because at that given time, there were 50 people working on set".

"We are in the process of sending a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta, as she has made false allegations and has spoken untruths". "I'm not aware of this, my dear. Suneil scolded that guy", she added.

Taking a sly dig at Bachchan, writer Varun Grover tweeted, "Neither I am #TanushreeDutta nor #NanaPatekar but even a cursory knowledge of gender-based power-dynamics and ugliness of male behaviour in this world should inform us that she's telling the truth". Janice (Sequeira, who at that time was with a news channel) was there at the time of the incident being debated today. She said that the "deafening silence on the matter is sickening", and that she had heard of Nana's temper but had never experienced it herself. She tweeted, "Some incidents that take place even a decade ago remain fresh in your memory".

U.S. rips global effort to evade Iran sanctions
It was only the third time in United Nations history that a U.S. president chaired a Security Council meeting. At the same time, he thanked Iran , Russia, and Syria for slowing their attack on Idlib province in Syria.

To this tweet, Bollywood actors namely, Farhan Akhtar, Richa Chadha and Swara Bhasker went on to tweet on the thread in support of Tanushree. "That is sad", told Tanushree Dutta. "It's a wrong statement that Nana ji called members of some political party on set". "No woman wants publicity that opens the floodgates of trolling and insensitivity. What happened to her on set was intimidation. Her only fault was she didn't back down-takes a special courage to be #TanushreeDutta". There has to be some kind of explanation and in the absence of an explanation, nobody is going to believe this story that they were eyewitnesses and they kept quiet because of Nana's clout.

"Neither my name is Tanushree nor Nana Patekar".

After those serious accusations, famous portal Mumbai Mirror got in touch with the actor to know the other side of the coin.

We all know there are hundreds and thousands of women who are too afraid to speak out against sexual assault and misconduct, lest they be called "unprofessional". "This is the response of those who talk about women's empowerment and support the #MeToo movement happening in America. and when that is happening here, this is how they respond", she said. "I am still hopeful that people will do the right thing", the actor said.
