The National Hurricane Center upgraded Kirk's chances this morning as the cluster of thunderstorms moves quickly west at about 25 miles per hour.

After being downgraded late Monday morning thanks to no longer containing a closed center of circulation, Kirk is once again a tropical storm this morning.

A tropical storm warning is in effect for St. Lucia, Barbados, Dominica, Guadeloupe, and Martinique. On the forecast track, the centre will move over the Lesser Antilles within the tropical storm warning area Thursday night...

Days after degenerating into a Tropical Wave, Kirk has regenerated into a Tropical Storm. As you look at the official forecast from the National Hurricane Center above, you'll notice that as soon as Kirk passes the Lesser Antilles, it weakens back into a depression.

"Sustained surface winds of between 25 to 35 miles per hour (40 to 55 km/h) with gusts to storm force are expected to spread across Barbados starting tonight and persisting into tomorrow".
