The Vikings were heavily favored going into Sunday's matchup with the winless Buffalo Bills.

One bettor at the Westgate Superbook was so sure of the Vikings win, he confidently placed $9,000 on Minnesota to win outright in an effort to win $450. Allen became the first Bills quarterback with two rushing touchdowns in a game since Trent Edwards in 2008, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to become Europe's 'ugliest team to play against'
Hughes, now manager at Southampton , faces Liverpool on Saturday at Anfield. "Yes, he [Firmino] is ready", Klopp said. People say you are a world class player BUT... you still have to defend like in the first game of your career.

Allen accounted for three touchdowns, making Cousins look like the raw rookie as the Bills beat the Vikings 27-6 on Sunday as 16½-point underdogs. The offense was able to sustain the ensuing drive, but Stephen Hauschka connected on a 50-yard field goal to give Buffalo a 27-0 lead. Minnesota is a really hard place to play and Allen made it look easy on a 75-yard touchdown drive to start the game. Cousins had just 44 yards passing at halftime before throwing for 252 in the second half, when the game was out of reach. Russell Bodine, who started at C for Ryan Groy, left with leg cramps in the third quarter. The ball was bobbled by running back Latavius Murray and linebacker Matt Milano picked it off while on his back.

In a twist of irony, the Vikings cut Carlson after that game and added former Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey. Murray had one yard rushing on two carries, and the Vikings had just 14 yards rushing as a team. Third-year man Stephen Weatherly made his first start in place of Griffen and had his first career sack. Coming from Wyoming, Allen was thought to be a talented but very raw prospect who would need plenty of time and tutelage before learning the National Football League ropes, but he was composed and efficient Sunday. The line was 16.5 or 17 points pretty much everywhere, and the Vikings seemed to play it cautious with a couple key players' injuries as they face a short week in Week 4. Green, who died in 2016, coached Minnesota from 1992-2001.
