Police have identified the woman who was caught on video crashing her vehicle in a high-speed chase and attempting to carjack someone - all with a baby in tow.

She crashed into the back of a pickup truck, jumped out and retrieved the baby, auto seat and all, before fleeing on foot.

The footage was released on Friday by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The woman, later identified as 29-year-old Catilyn Rodriguez, hit speeds of over 100 miles per hour at some points in the high-speed pursuit. The woman driving the SUV had her own child in the vehicle.

She struggles to carry the vehicle seat and runs in front of a auto as she crosses the road.

A clip shared August 31 in a Public Safety Commission meeting, ends with her being removed from the auto and taken into custody.

Rodriguez then passes in front of a white SUV before opening the door and jumping into the passenger side with the baby on her lap.

A police deflating device managed to take out one of her tires. The baby was turned over to Child Protective Services.
