Thousands of bees swarmed this Times Square hot dog stand

Who knows what will happen to them now, but at least the world is safe again, thanks to our very own Bee Avenger.

Officer Michael Lauriano, an 18-year veteran of the New York Police Department who is known as the force's "Bee Guy", suited up in a beekeeper's suit and sucked the bees into a special vacuum as he stood on a ladder.

He wore protective gear as he slowly sucked the bees into a vacuum.

'We try to get as many as we can, ' Lauriano explained to the New York Post.

A section of Times Square was blocked off on Tuesday after a massive bee swarm invaded a hot dog stand. "And I'm allergic to bees, so I want to see it, but keep my distance away from it". Eventually, a beekeeper did arrive on scene to relocate the bees.
