Video game publisher CD Projekt Red released a lengthy demo for its upcoming action role-playing game "Cyberpunk 2077" on Monday. The game has a full day-night cycle with weather systems so you'll definitely experience both daytime and nighttime.

On the heels of today's big 48 minute Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo, CD Projekt RED is careful to remind gamers that the huge project is still very much in deep stages of development and shouldn't be done any time soon.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in the most vibrant and risky metropolis of the future - Night City. The gameplay shown was the same gameplay that was shown off to the press at E3 and Gamescom, and now the rest of the world finally got a chance to see what the press have been raving about.

The demo has the player character, V, going through Night City doing various missions, starting from the character creation window to some high-level clashes.

We've been waiting for the next Cyberpunk game for years since CD Projekt Red revealed it in 2012, and when we finally got early looks at E3 and Gamescom, it looked worth the wait.

You can read below a small synopsis of the game.

With today's gameplay demo reveal, and the news that Cyberpunk 2077 is playable from start to finish, a late 2019 release date is looking more and more plausible. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), netrunning, vehicle physics, or the game's UI - everything's pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design.

"However, we are also well aware that many of you want to see what the media saw", he added. While it is very possible the final game we will get to play will be noticeably different from this, the company made a decision to share it anyway. Players will take the role of V, a hired gun in a world of cybernetic street warriors, netrunners and corporate life-hackers.

What do you think of the gameplay demo for Cyberpunk 2077?
