Cohen's lawyer walks back claim Trump knew of Russia meeting

Being "associated" with President Donald Trump is "the biggest crime you can commit in America today" amid the Russian Federation probe and the targeting of Trump's businesses, Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz warned Monday on the Fox News show "Fox & Friends".

Additional key players, including Trump's long-time CFO, Allen Weisselberg, and American Media head David J. Pecker, have also begun to cooperate with Mueller.

But as a long-serving employee in the Trump family business, he is rich repository of knowledge, and the idea of him answering questions to investigators under oath poses a new danger for the president as federal prosecutors in Washington and Manhattan dig deeper into the president's business affairs.

His situation in NY differs, however, and continues to deepen.

Democrats have infused their press releases and TV appearances with a new term to describe how they view the environment in which Trump's camp operates: a "culture of corruption".

"I'll leave that up to you", Donald Trump's former personal lawyer replied, before posing for a selfie.

"Weisselberg knows everything about Trump entities that have taken in money and spent it", said Trump biographer Michael D'Antonio, who writes frequently about the president's businesses.

Facebook bans Myanmar military chief over spread of hate speech
Maung Maung, a military representative in Parliament, said the army doesn't have any comment on the United Nations report. Facebook said the accounts it banned on Monday had 12 million followers.

John McCain, senator and former presidential candidate, dies at 81
Earlier this month, when he signed a multi-billion dollar defence bill named after McCain , Mr Trump did not say his name. Our hearts and prayers are with you!"-but it's the Instagram version of that sentiment that's getting all the attention".

Cabinet likely to ban discretionary funds of PM Imran, ministers
A report seeking a ban on foreign tours of ministers, advisers and secretaries would also be presented, Geo News reported. Secretary Pompeo expressed his willingness to work with the new government towards a productive bilateral relationship.

The jury found Manafort guilty on five charges of filing false income tax returns, one count of failing to report foreign bank accounts and two counts of bank fraud.

"In the age of 24/7 news, it's a hopeless quest to expect people to know what they're talking about", Lubet added, jokingly.

A dispute soon broke out between Cohen and Trump over who would pay the former fixer's mounting legal bills.

But Democrats are wary of prematurely brandishing the "I" word, even if they're acting as megaphones for reports that Trump may be tied to criminal activity. Gonzales said that while Trump is entitled to speak his mind, his apparent sympathy for Manafort puts him at odds with his own Justice Department.

Cohen was embraced by the cable news networks as an irresistible foil to Trump. Cohen's camp made some effort to play into the role, reaching out to Watergate whistleblower John Dean and, after Cohen's plea, establishing an online fundraising tool that seemed to predominantly receive backing from liberals. But a deal has yet to be struck and there are doubts about what Cohen can prove or whether the special counsel would want to rely on an untrustworthy witness.

His plea deal with prosecutors could see his prison sentence reduced from 65 years to five years and three months.

The latter two charges were in connection to payments to the former Playboy model Karen McDougal and the porn actress Stormy Daniels to silence their allegations of affairs with Trump. "And that's why his lawyers are so strongly recommending against it".
