Order gives India control after Hardik Pandya rout

England bundled India out within the first hour of Day 2 at Trent Bridge for 329 runs in the first innings of the 3rd Test at Trent Bridge. After the batting debacle in first two Tests, a collective performance was the order of the day and Kohli-Rahane duo were helped by the fact that openers Shikhar Dhawan (35) and KL Rahul (23) added 60 runs to lay the foundation.

Pandya's 28-ball effort was the second-quickest five-wicket haul for India in Test cricket after Harbhajan Singh took a fiver off 27 balls against West Indies in 2006.
