Fortnite Beta for Android smartphones is available for non-Samsung devices, but Epic Games is taking it slow.

Despite the numerous rumors that Fortnite would be a Samsung exclusive for up to four months, Epic Games confirmed that other devices would be able to play the hit game several days after it launched on August 9.

If you're using one of the above-mentioned smartphones, then all you need to do is go to Fortnite's official website, select your smartphone from the dropdown, login or create your account to play Fortnite and wait for the Fortnite team to send you a download link for the game.

The arrival of Fortnite on Android has not only been eagerly awaited, but also steeped in controversy. It should be noted, perhaps, that Google's message makes no mention of how players can find the game, or even that it is available elsewhere.

In fact, Fortnite for the world's most popular operating system has gone into open beta recently and is now available for download to people who have signed up and got vetted for the early mobile release. Because the game is offered outside of the hardware's main storefront, make sure you are not downloading from anywhere dubious. However, most app developers choose to pay Google's platform fees because they feel that their app will not be found by enough users without a presence on Google Play.

Fortnite for Android isn't on the Play Store, and Google is making sure that everyone interested in the game knows it.

App store intelligence firm Sensor Tower says that Apple earned about Dollars 54 million from Fortnite, through its general 30 percent cut of all in-app purchases that happen on any app in its store. Following the raving success of PUBG on Android, Tencent is testing out a lighter version of the game for low-end smartphones, which is soon to be released in India after some field tests.
