The Nintendo Switch's Online Service Arrives Late Next Month

Nintendo previously only mentioned a release in September 2018, but has now narrowed down the service's release to the second half of September. It will allow users to enjoy a classic selection of the NES game with the added online play.

Nintendo will reveal how to tell if a game requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription "at a later date".

Although, not as robust as Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus's lineup of monthly games, it is nice to see Nintendo offer anything at all, on top of the paid access to online multiplayer.

That means the service should arrive in a little over one month, though Nintendo has yet to specify exactly when.

She also claims without evidence that tapes exist of the president using the N-word repeatedly on the reality show's set. It must have been something very, very sensitive", she wrote, according to the Post .

Games that are now free to play online such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, and Mario Tennis Aces will require a subscription for online play once the service goes live next month.

The company will provide cloud save support but only if the game software supports the feature; it's not something that comes as standard for the network, which is especially inconvenient for players who need a Switch repaired.

The original window for launch was fixed at a generic September, so one could've guessed we were only couple weeks for the release of the service. Additionally, special family membership will also be available for $44.99, giving access to the full suite of online features for up to 8 accounts. Otherwise, you can pay $19.99 United States dollars for an individual 12-month membership, $7.99 for three months for $3.99 for a month. Let us know in the comments. If they want to convince more players to pay money for the service beyond playing Splatoon 2 online, Nintendo needs to be a lot less cagey and more forthcoming.
