There's enough differences between the Mi A2 and A2 Lite that Xiaomi is targeting two diverse set of users with its latest Android One phones.

The new handsets follow the Mi A1, another Android One device that launched in India and 40 other markets past year.

The Mi A2 will be available in 40 markets across Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, and the Americas.

The only similarity which both the Mi A1 and the Mi A2 share is that both of them are Android One devices, other than that, the company has introduced a lot of changes. For better low light performance, the Mi A2's camera has a larger 1.25-micron pixel size and it also supports pixel binning which combines 4 nearby pixels into a larger superpixel. A smartphone associated with the brand "Pocophone" was also listed to come in two storage variants - 64GB/128GB internal storage with 6GB RAM. Mi A2 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space will cost Euro 349.

Xiaomi celebrated its first Android One anniversary with the launch of the Xiaomi Mi A2 and A2 Lite. The Mi A2 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 625 with the Adreno 506 GPU. Much like the Mi A2, Xiaomi's Mi A2 Lite is an Android One device running a stock version of Google's Android Oreo.
