They were shouting from the perimeter of his Ayrshire golf complex as he played a round of golf.

The president squabbled with Acosta, a White House reporter for the network, at a Friday news conference at the British prime minister's country estate.

Trump is staying at the Trump Turnberry venue he owns ahead of traveling to Helsinki for a Monday meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

"We need to show that there are people outside America who care about what is happening and that Trump has a global impact".

Most of the controversy has centred on his other course, known as Trump International Golf Links. He is, simply, the worst president ever.

On Friday night he flew on Air Force One to Glasgow Prestwick Airport in Scotland for a two-day private stay at his famous Turnberry golf resort but protests are expected to continue on Saturday.

In a statement, Greenpeace spokesman Ben Stewart said: "Trump calls climate change a "con job" and a 'myth'".

Perhaps the best part of this form of protest is the fact that Trump was standing outside when the paraglider flew over, so there's absolutely no chance he missed the message.

It also sets up a rematch of the 2016 Wimbledon final that ended with Williams winning in a close 7-5, 6-3 straight sets win. So often when the American plays, tennis becomes a very simple equation: if she gets into her veracious groove she triumphs.

"A famous golf course owner from America who, I think, has now turned his hand to politics, chose to take the Scottish government to court to try to block these wind turbines", the Scottish National Party (SNP) leader said as the first turbine was switched on last week. "And, because of those golf courses, Trump has a long and pretty controversial history here", she said.

Three years later Trump visited the Scottish parliament to complain about plans to build 11 "ugly" offshore wind turbines near his newly minted Aberdeenshire resort, insisting the development would do "terrible damage" to Scottish tourism.

As Trump tweeted and swung his clubs in Turnberry, demonstrators were also making their voices heard in Edinburgh, the Scottish capital. It was Mr. Trump's first personal response to indictments announced Friday in Washington against the 12 Russian military intelligence officers who allegedly hacked into the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, Trump's Democratic rival, and the Democratic Party, and released tens of thousands of emails in a sweeping Kremlin conspiracy to help Mr. Trump win the 2016 election.

"I think that those people, they like me a lot, and they agree with me on immigration", Trump said of the Scots earlier this week, according to Quartz, adding, "I think that's why you have Brexit in the first place, because of immigration".

Saturday morning, Trump tweeted about the indictments.

"The stories you heard about the 12 Russians yesterday took place during the Obama administration, not the Trump administration", Mr Trump tweeted, asking why they did not "do something about it, especially when it was reported that President Obama was informed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in September, before the Election?"
