In June, Clarke - who plays Daenerys Targaryen (aka Khaleesi, the Mother of Dragons, etc. etc.) -shared two sentimental Instagram posts to mark her final days of filming. But Maisie Williams has wrapped her Game of Thrones adventure with a farewell message posted on Instagram. Goodbye Arya. Goodbye Game of Thrones. 'What a joy I've had.

Our attention goes to the hashtag #lastwomanstanding, come on seriously Maisee?!

In the post Williams indicated she might be taking some time off after filming the epic series, using the hashtag #immasleepforthenextfouryears however her next project, The New Mutants, helmed by The Fault In Our Stars director Josh Boon, is now filming leaving her with little time to rest. Does this mean all other female characters are dead?

Game of Thrones' eighth and final season is not due to hit screens until 2019, but that hasn't stopped the cast from teasing fans as they wrap on filming.
