Mr. Trump was in Montana to campaign for Republican candidates, including at-large Rep. Greg Gianforte and U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., a possible 2020 presidential challenger, and Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., who has called for Trump's impeachment for more than a year.

Trump slammed Tester on his social media account over the affair.

Trump leaned heavily into the immigration issue as he rallied supporters Thursday in Montana.

There were notable caveats to Trump's riffs: He hailed his administration's deregulation push but made no mention of his pre-rally announcement that Scott Pruitt would resign as head of the Environmental Protection Agency. Trump's message would influence his decision, he said. As he has done repeatedly before, Trump mocked her claims of Native American ancestry with the derisive label of "Pocahontas".

"Will I be prepared?"

'In fact your great first lady said to me that same day, well did he want to do it? Pocahontas, I apologize to you.

"Get your ass out to vote", he said to the roaring crowd. "To the fake Pocohantas I won't apologize". Trump said he would give Warren a DNA test kit in the middle of a debate and offer $1 million for her favourite charity, "paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you're an Indian".

For her part, Elizabeth Warren responded with eternal class, reminding Donald Trump of the job he's supposed to be doing. "Maybe you should focus on fixing the lives you're destroying", Warren tweeted.

"I believe him", Trump told reporters.

Warren was far from the only Democrat who drew Trump's acidic rhetoric on Thursday, though.

Another user made light of Melania Trump's futile campaign to end bullying when during his speech Trump only only mocked #MeToo, but also dissed Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters.

Sacha Baron Cohen Teases New Project Involving Trump University
Some suggested that he might do the same to Cohen, long considered Trump's "fixer", but there is an apparent rift between the two. Here is what President Trump said about Sacha Baron Cohen in his video that was used in Cohen's announcement.

"They could have ruined a lesser man", he said of Adm. Jackson. I say, "I really don't know, he said he'd do it"'. I mean, honestly she is somewhere in the mid-60s. Like Tester, she's one of 10 Democrats running in states that Trump captured in 2016.

Tester took out full-page newspaper ads welcoming Trump to Montana on Thursday.

President Trump listens as GOP Senate candidate Matt Rosendale speaks during a "Make America Great Again" rally in Great Falls, Mont., on Thursday.

Trump nearly immediately lashed into Tester, the two-term Democrat, who he blamed for derailing the April nomination of Navy Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson to head the Department of Veterans Affairs. Tester's criticism helped lead to Jackson withdrawing his nomination over allegations of misconduct at the White House medical office, angering Trump. "We go forward to victory".

The president criticized Tester's voting record, which included opposition to the Republican tax overhaul and Trump's judicial nominees, a critique later offset by his praise of "landmark" veterans legislation that Tester pushed for. "That is probably why I am here because I won Montana by so many points, I don't have to come here".

'Because what happened is, he said, Sir if you would like me to do it, I'll do it. "I feel guilty. I sort of feel guilty for this whole thing".

When he introduced Montana Republican Sen. After all, the mantra first coined by then-first lady Michelle Obama in 2016 - "when they go low, we go high" - didn't stop him from becoming President.

The rally, which lasted well over an hour-typical of Trump events-hit everything: Sen. While Tester voted against Trump's Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch and the Republican tax bill, he is considered a more centrist member of the caucus.

But his attacks were not limited to the opposing party, either. Trump said in Montana.

"Let's say I am debating Pocahontas", Trump surmised. "You're going to get on your side a real Montana fighter". What the hell is that? Trump is one of the few public figures facing accusations of harassment who has not been felled.

Okoumou, an immigrant from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, put many officers and others in danger and spoiled the holiday for visitors to one of our country's most cherished landmarks. "Will I be prepared?"
