Real Madrid make Marco Asensio decision amid Reds interest

Asensio has been the golden boy of Spanish football for a few years now, with his status as a key player for Real Madrid only solidifying his stature of being one of the most exciting young prospects in world football.

With Madrid also being strongly linked with a swoop for Neymar, reports suggest Asensio could be sacrificed to help make room for the Brazilian worldwide and it's led to rumours of a potential move to Liverpool.

He scored 11 times while making 53 appearances across the board for the European champions last season.

Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio will not be leaving the club this summer despite recent speculation about his future.

He developed a lot as a player under Zinedine Zidane, but was not a regular starter.
