Google Home and Chromecast outage: Here's the official fix

The Google Home Help Forums are filled with similar complaints about the outage, also from users worldwide.

"The fact that it's been 12 hours my Chromecast has not been working and we're only now finding out there's an issue", one user wrote on Twitter.
