The 36-year-old royal proved her quick reflexes after her daughter, Princess Charlotte, took a tumble on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday.

Meghan's peach Carolina Herrera gown looked "stunning", says the newspaper, but was deemed "too revealing" for the ceremony. Unlike at her wedding just a mere three weeks ago, Meghan wore her hair down and styled to the side in waves.

Prince Harry created and is the patron of the Invictus Games Foundation, which runs the tournament, and has previously attended the games in other host cities. Others, however, were quick to rush to her defense saying that Meghan was bringing a fresh look to the usual "stuffy" royal etiquette.

Prince Harry, who served with the British army in Afghanistan, was the first member of the Royal family to enter a combat zone since 1982.

The tabloid claimed that "some friends believe she walked down the aisle pregnant, and now they're buzzing the royal couple will soon become a family of four".

Let the countdown begin to her next official appearance - our summer style choices will most certainly be informed by the Duchess of Sussex.

The pair will be following in the footsteps of Prince Harry's parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, whose first royal tour was also to Australia and New Zealand on a 41 day visit.

Following her recent eye operation to remove a cataract, the Queen showed no ill effects and was not wearing sunglasses as she has at some outdoor events.
