Cristiano Ronaldo is planning to leave Real Madrid this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly suspicious of Real Madrid's pursuit of Neymar and is bothered by the fact the club appear willing to splash €350 million (£306 million) on the Paris Saint-Germain star.

Ronaldo, 33, sparked speculation about his future by speaking in the past tense when discussing his time as a Madrid player after last month's Champions League final victory over Liverpool in Kiev.

Speaking to Marca from Spain's pre-World Cup camp, Asensio said that he "could not imagine" being part of a Madrid squad which did not include the five time Ballon d'Or victor. "In the coming days, I will give a response to the fans because they actually have always been at my side".

According to another report, Ronaldo became more unhappy after his agent Jorge Mendes met with the club on Wednesday.

Manager Zinedine Zidane recently shocked the world when he announced he was stepping down as Real Madrid boss, and now FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has had his say on the matter.

Per Jose Felix Diaz of Marca, Neymar still believes he can secure a "miracle move" to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, and Real continue to view signing him as their No. 1 priority.

We expect this one to drag out until the end of the World Cup.

The coach, who led Portugal to their Euro 2016 triumph in France two years ago, also confirmed that captain Cristiano Ronaldo will start Thursday's friendly at home to Algeria, their final warmup match.

Ronaldo has a strong bond with the Frenchman, who surprisingly stepped down as Madrid's manager last week, and it's claimed that the Portuguese now has only a few close allies in the dressing room.
