Remembering that in April, Motorola held a global event in Brazil to introduce the new Moto G6 family - and also took the opportunity to showcase the new Moto E5.

Motorola previously used the gesture support via fingerprint reader for its devices, but since the fingerprint reader is now on the side, the company went for gesture support like that on the Android P DP2. The image of the Z3 Play is not really surprising anymore, but it once again confirms that it will sport an 18:9 display that will likely be 6-inch in size and with a FHD+ resolution. The bezels aren't that thin. 5G deployment is still a ways off and it is unlikely we'll see much use of the 5G Moto Mod this year. It's noteworthy that the original G6 Plus launched with 4GB of RAM and a lower-placed Snapdragon 630 processor. The large battery allows the Moto G6 Play to stand out, but the rest of the hardware isn't all that enticing when you consider the likes of Xiaomi offer beefier hardware at the same price point. Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest news about the Moto G6 series. We expect the company to reveal Moto Z2 Play may come with face unlock feature, which has become a new norm in the industry. Notably, renders suggest that the Z3 Play will ditch the headphone jack and the bottom will only see a USB Type-C port. It features the familiar big circular camera module on the rear-side with dual snappers and multi-tone LED flash on the top and also the 16-pin connector at the base to dock the snap-on mods with a lone mic below it.
