Media "Grossly Misinterpreted" Remarks On Mumbai Attack: Nawaz Sharif

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's interview to a media outlet, where he commented on the Mumbai terror attacks, has been distorted and his brother would never say something like that. Saying that we strongly believe that the handlers of the 26/11 offences were in Pakistan.

In an interview to Dawn newspaper, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader expressed concern over country's relative isolation in world community and apparent non-acceptance of its narrative on terrorism by the world powers. Early in April, the Pakistan Supreme Court had disqualified him for life from holding any public office.

The remark contradicts the official stand of Islamabad, which insists that India has not furnished enough evidence to prove that Pakistani terrorists were involved.

He claimed that although Pakistan had cooperated with the Indian government for information-sharing regarding every terrorist incident, India had not reciprocated for incidents taking place inside Pakistan. He indicated that his country should look into why its narrative that it had been fighting terrorism had not been accepted by the worldwide community "despite sacrifices".

For the first time, Sharif also questioned Pakistan's policy to allow the "non-state actors" to cross the border and "kill" people in Mumbai, according to a media report. We must look into it, Sharif had told Dawn. Explain it to me. Pakistan has tried to cooperate with India in the case from the start, she pointed out. Afghanistan's narrative is being accepted, but ours is not.

Faria said: "After a lot of consideration, and with a very heavy heart, I have decided the time is right for me to move on". We spend more time with each other than we do with anyone else in our lives.

He's an end-of-the-bench player for the Cavs, playing eight total minutes in the playoffs, recording two points and one rebound. It was a simple strategy that Coach of the Year Dwane Casey - whom the Toronto Raptors fired Friday - could find no answer for.

Chelsea vs Huddersfield: Why I benched Eden Hazard - Conte
Asked if he had rested Hazard ahead of Chelsea's FA Cup final with Manchester United, Conte responded: "No, absolutely not". Ex-Chelsea star Tony Cascarino still believes in Alvaro Morata and has informed him to shoot on sight to score more goals .

"This disclosure of Sharif would definitely embarrass the Pakistan army and the ISI on the worldwide platform", Nikam said.

Mr Sharif, 68, was disqualified by the Supreme Court for not being "honest and righteous" as he failed to declare in 2013 a salary he got from the company of his son in the UAE. "You can't run a country if you have two or three parallel governments. There can only be one government: the constitutional one", Sharif said in the interview.

While Pakistan started the process of prosecuting suspects behind 26/11, so far none of the seven Lashkar-e-Tayyaba terrorists have been punished.

Former PM Nawaz Sharif's apparently conciliatory remark on the state's role in terrorism, however, is unlikely to indicate a concrete shift in Islamabad's position. The attacks were carried out by 10 LeT men.

The lone survivor, Ajmal Amir Kasab, was caught and was sentenced to death at Yerwada Central Jail in Pune in 2012.
