In the early weeks of his presidential campaign, Trump sparked national outrage when he said McCain is "not a war hero" because he was shot down and captured as a Navy pilot during the Vietnam War. Fox Business Network host Charles Payne apologized to McCain and his family on Twitter for failing to intervene in the conversation, saying he hadn't caught the remarks.
