Asus Zenfone Max Pro Receives Face Unlock Feature Via New Software Update

Asus recently launched the mid-range Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India at a starting price of Rs 10,999 to take on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. As mentioned in our first impressions, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 looks quite similar to its rival.

The 2GB RAM variant of Live L1 will run the Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 of Asus on top. Everything here is created to take up less space and use less bandwidth, as well as run on modest hardware.

Max Pro features a 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160x1080) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 509 GPU.

Well, the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1's price in India starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant settles for a price of Rs. 12,999. There is another variant that offers 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage and is priced at Rs 12,999. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, 85.5-degree wide-angle view, five-piece lens. The Asus Zenfone Live L1 will be initially available in Indonesia in a couple of color options - Rose Pink, Midnight Black, Blue, and White.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which Asus claims can give 199 hours of music playback, 25.3 hours of 1080p Video playback, and up to 42 hours of 3G talktime. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM, dedicated microSD card slot, Global Positioning System and micro USB port.

Connectivity options includes- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB, Location, 3.5mm audio-jack, and 4G VoLTE. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is available in 3/4/6GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB storage models. Sensors on board include an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and a rear-facing fingerprint sensor.
