Giuliani: Trump Repaid Lawyer for Daniels Hush Money

President Donald Trump's new lawyer Rudy Giuliani says the president repaid attorney Michael Cohen for a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Giuliani, one of the lawyers helping President Donald Trump navigate the Russian Federation investigation, told Fox News' Sean Hannity the "whole country" will turn on Mueller if he targets the president's oldest daughter.

Cohen and Trump have said the payment was made without Trump's knowledge and Cohen has insisted he used his own money to pay Daniels in the weeks before the 2016 election.

But tonight, Giuliani contradicted that story.

During an appearance on Sean Hannity's Fox News Channel show Wednesday, Trump's newly minted lawyer asserted that the money had been "funneled ... through the law firm and the president repaid it". But outside experts said it raised a number of questions, including whether the money represented repayment of an undisclosed loan or could be seen as reimbursement for a campaign expenditure.

"No", Trump said. "I don't know". "But he did know about the general arrangements". I said, $130,000? He can do a couple of checks for $130,000.

She is also suing Cohen for defamation for suggesting that she lied about her alleged affair with the president.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The crippling injury crisis that may have cost Bayern Champions League glory
Real hold a 2-1 lead after the first leg in Germany last week, however the Frenchman insists the job is nowhere near complete. Bayern paid attention to Madrid's recent struggles. "They are not invincible despite what many people may think".

"I love Rudy, but they better have an explanation for that", she added.

"For several weeks Ty Cobb has been discussing his retirement and last week he let Chief of Staff Kelly know he would retire at the end of this month", she said.

Cohen has also claimed that he paid Daniels out of his own pocket and was never repaid. "These are busy people".

"The fact is, just trust me", he said, "they're gonna come up with no violations there".

"They better have an explanation for that", Ingraham said, moments after Giuliani's interview with Sean Hannity aired, during which Giuliani made a number of bombshell remarks about Cohen, Trump, and the Russian Federation investigation.

But Daniels' lawyer says Trump "evidently has participated in a felony and there must be serious consequences".

Prior to Comey's book release, Trump even insinuated Comey should go to jail, tweeting: "The big questions in Comey's badly reviewed book aren't answered like, how come he gave up Classified Information (jail), why did he lie to Congress (jail), why did the DNC refuse to give Server to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (why didn't they TAKE it), why the phony memos, McCabe's $700,000 & more?".
