Clark University in Worcester to host prescription drugs take-back day

Anyone who is unable to participate on National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day can anonymously surrender their prescription drugs at any MSP post, Monday through Friday from 8 4 p.m., excluding holidays.

"Prescription drugs are often mistaken by adolescents as a "safe" alternative to illegal street drugs, which leads to increased use".

Participants can dispose of their unneeded medication at participating drop-off locations across the United States.

Five Northwell Health facilities on Long Island will take part in April 28's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, a chance for people to safely remove unused and expired prescriptions from their homes. Nationwide on Drug Take-Back Day, more than 5,000 collection sites enable patients, caregivers and pet owners to properly dispose of unwanted prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications at no cost.
