Trevor Noah took a moment Monday night to blast Sean Hannity after it was disclosed that he was the third mysterious client of President Trump's scandal-plagued personal lawyer Michael Cohen.

Earlier in the hour, Fox News contributor Alan Dershowitz chastised Hannity for failing to mention his link to Cohen before any of his many segments in which he covered the Federal Bureau of Investigation raid on the attorney's office, hotel room and home last week.

Cohen is trying to keep investigators from sifting through all the documents they collected in those raids, claiming they're protected by attorney-client privilege.

Attorneys for Cohen had already applied to Judge Kimba Wood at Manhattan federal court for a restraining order that would stop authorities reviewing the records seized from Cohen until Cohen's team has reviewed the materials themselves. Cohen represented Trump in offering hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels, and Hannity has called CNN's president a "porn king" for the network's coverage of the Stormy Daniels scandal.

However, Wood ordered Cohen's lawyers to reveal the unknown third client, saying his identity is not subject to attorney-client privilege.

The news jolted through the media industry, prompting reporters to send a flood of emails and texts to Hannity requesting comment.

As news broke of the court revelation on Monday, Hannity remarked on his radio program that he learned of the court news by seeing it on Fox. "Now, what that means is [special counsel Robert S.] Mueller's witch-hunt investigation is now a runaway train that is clearly careening off the tracks", said Hannity.

In a filing earlier Monday, Cohen's lawyers said investigators "took everything" during raids last week on his residence and office. People familiar with the probe told The Associated Press that agents were seeking bank records, records on Cohen's dealing in the taxi industry, Cohen's communications with the Trump campaign.
