The Moto G6 series of smartphones from Lenovo-owned Motorola is expected to be unveiled at an event in Brazil on April 19.

After a few quite extensive leaks, it really did seem like there was little more to learn about Motorola's upcoming Moto G6 family.

Previous rumors have suggested that the Moto G6 Play might come with a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440) 18:9 IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 SoC under-the-hood coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and the whole package is expected to be backed by a 4000mAh battery.

Finally, the Moto G6 Play will be available in indigo and gold colours, although the indigo colour here looks different to the indigo of the G6 and G6 Plus, it even looks black from the front. The images were posted on Instagram and were first spotted by SlashLeaks, which also reported that the Moto G6-series is based on the Moto X4 design. All three Moto G6 phones are expected to sport full-screen displays. It's main shooter is supposedly a 13 MP one and the selfie camera is an 8 MP one, still with a LED flash for selfies in the dark.

A Twitter user has shared the renders of all the smartphones in the Moto G6 lineup. Taking that details into consideration, the new Moto G6 will come fitted with a 5.7-inch Max Vision display, 1.8GHz octa-core processor, 3D glass back, a fingerprint sensor, dual camera setup, TurboPower charging, and more. To top things off, prospective buyers can expect a 12MP, plus 5MP dual camera setup, 3,200 mAh battery and a pretty standard connectivity load-out, including optional Dual SIM support. The specs sound very promising and it is confirmed that this will be a mid-range smartphone from Motorola powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

On the hardware side, the handset will feature an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. We will know more in the days leading up to the launch event on April 19.
