New Gmail design revealed

After years of Google's same age-old design of the Gmail web-client, Google is finally planning to update it. Vertical panoramas are quite uncommon on smartphones, considering the fact that Google has made a decision to label them is a bit unusual, however, we will keep you posted with further updates related Google Photos at Google I/O 2018, so stay tuned with us. Check out a few screenshots below or hit the link for more. Furthermore, it will have much better integrations with Google's other services like a sidebar for appointments, Google Tasks, and more. Search results are also cached on the device so you can quickly re-access previous searches, even when you're offline, without incurring further data costs. This will be very handy for some users. This is perhaps the most useful part of the redesign that makes it easier to schedule meetings, or see when you're free when replying to an email.

Sahil Bhutani saw a Google employee playing with the new design on public transport and told TechCrunch: "The left-side column was more like inbox.google.com and the right side was an enlarged version of Gmail". Another feature to look forward to is smart replies which found its way to Google's Inbox and Allow last summer. This EAP will introduce a new design for the Gmail web interface, as well as several new features.

Google on Thursday, April 12, announced the launch of "Google Go", a new app that provides a lighter, faster, way to search, with everything you need just a tap away.

It's unclear whether this feature will only be available to Gmail users, or if people who use Gmail with non-Gmail accounts will also be able to send disappearing messages. Users will be able to choose from three different layouts in the future: Compact, Default and Comfortable. This is because Google is now asking users to confirm their Google account to view the confidential email. Considering Keep can already pull double duty as a barebones to-do list, I'm hoping Google has some new features in tow.

The present Gmail for Web design is among the earliest designs of Google.
