Pakistan complete Twenty20 series whitewash over West Indies

Pakistan defeated West Indies by eight wickets, in the third and final Twenty20 global at the National Stadium on Tuesday to win their series 3-0.

The end part of the innings was particularly productive for the West Indies, who went from 96-5 in 15.1 overs to their eventual score of 153-6.

Marlon Samuels also hit two sixes and as many fours in his 25-ball 31.

Denesh Ramdin cracked a fiery 18-ball 42 not out with four boundaries and three sixes - two in the last over from Usman Shinwari - as the West Indies scored 57 in the last five overs. He made 51. The breakout star of the series, Hussain Talat made unbeaten 31 and made sure Pakistan cross the winning line.

Azam's comments come after he struck a career-best 97 not out in the second Twenty20 global against the West Indies in Karachi.
