Verizon Releases Android 8.0 Oreo For Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8+

For the uninformed, Project Treble is simple Google's solution to fixing the fact that Android software updates take way too long to reach your mobile devices. The highlight of the Galaxy Note 8 is its S-Pen stylus which differentiates the device from the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Rumors from various outlets hinted a March release date for the Android 8.0 Oreo which seems to be accurate given the recent reports. The company has said nothing about Galaxy Note 8 Android Oreo 8.0 update for Indian region. It brings the latest Samsung Experience 9.0 and also the latest March 2018 Android security update. Meanwhile, Samsung's latest Galaxy S9 series ships with the latest software version out-of-the-box. To recall, the Galaxy Note 8 had passed the WFA alliance running Android 8.0 Oreo last month. It features 6.3-inch 2K Super AMOLED Infinity display. Phones in France may have been the first to enjoy these updates, but users in other countries would most likely receive the update for Note 8 soon. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
