The Spain global scored Bayern's opening goal in a 3-1 victory over the Turkish champions that booked a place in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Bayern win against Besiktas was a record 11th successive victory in the competition for their coach, Jupp Heynckes, who had led the Bundesliga champions to the title in 2013 before retiring and returning this season.

"It was a convincing result", said Heynckes. The Citizens are already into the quarterfinals of the Champions League after beating Switzerland's Basel 5-2 on aggregate.

The Bundesliga champions were virtually through the next round after claiming a 5-0 win in the first leg.

Defender Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels and Rafinha were all booked in Istanbul.

A Gokhan Gonul own goal then extended Bayern's advantage early in the second half.

Besiktas did have one back just before the hour when Vagner Love slotted into the bottom corner of the net.

Kirk Cousins expected to sign with Minnesota Vikings
In 2017, Brees completed an NFL-record 72 percent of his passes for 4,334 yards and 23 touchdowns against eight interceptions. Cousins, 29, did not sign a long-term deal with the Redskins and twice played under the franchise-player tag in Washington.

Washington Redskins should be interested in DB Tyrann Mathieu
Arguably the top receiving option available was Allen Robinson , who joined a young Bears team with serious offensive potential. Mathieu reportedly would have had a cap number of $14.1 million, which is more money than Arizona wanted to allot toward him.

"It was a really hectic game", said Bayern captain Thomas Mueller.

"I can barely remember a game where we gave the ball away so often and the second half didn't feel so good".

Nevertheless, Lewandowski played until the 67th minute, but failed to add to his 32 goals this season in all competitions.

Besiktas are unbeaten in their last six Champions League home games, though five of these have ended as draws (W1).

He has also returned to the training ground for the first time since he underwent the surgery, and should he return at the due date, he will get to play the last few weeks of the season.

The hosts missed a wonderful chance to level in the 62nd minute though when Mustafa Pektemek somehow headed a Quaresma cross over the Bayern goal from close range.
