The free-agency period officially opens at 1:00 on Wednesday.

The addition of Bradford is a welcome one for the Cardinals, who have been in need of a quarterback since Carson Palmer announced his retirement in January. Early Tuesday, news broke of Kirk Cousins heading to the Vikings and Case Keenum signing with Denver.

Former OU quarterback and Heisman victor Sam Bradford is on the move again.

But Bradford and Cardinals new offensive coordinator Mike McCoy form an interesting tandem, not to mention plugging the veteran into an offense with a skill group headlined by David Johnson and future Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald.

The former first-overall pick by the Rams in 2010 started in Week 1 for Minnesota in 2017, completing 27 of 32 pass attempts for three touchdowns and no interceptions.

According to respected cricket writer Peter Lalor , South African batsmen complained to umpires about it. The photographs, taken on Day 1 of the ongoing second Test, have since gone viral on social media.

Bradford played in just two games for the Minnesota Vikings previous year as he battled a knee injury, and he spent some time on injured reserve.

Bradford will be getting a one-year deal worth $20 million with an option for a second season, according to an NFL Network report. He'll become the Cardinals' presumed starter as early as Wednesday since they don't now have any quarterbacks under contract.

Bradford is not a stop-gap solution, he's a guy who will likely spend the season battling injuries while the backup quarterback gets ready to fill in.

His last full season, 2016, Bradford started 15 games and posted a league-leading 71.6 completion percentage to go with his 99.3 passer rating, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions. However, he might also have the lowest floor, as injuries have routinely prevented him from staying on the field in his first seven seasons, when he's missed a combined 33 regular-season games.
