In the new Facebook Watch docu-series Tom vs. Time, Brady gives fans a look at his life both on and off the field and admitted that it isn't always easy to uphold his personal and professional commitments. I think you realize the sun comes up the next morning, and your life goes on.

Brady, who has said he hopes to play to his mid-40s, explained on "Good Morning America" how he is transitioning from losing Super Bowl LII to the 2018 season, which will be his 19th in the NFL.

The report also stated that Brady was "less than fine" with criticism from Belichick throughout the season, stemming from the Patriots' playoff win against the Houston Texans in 2017. "I gave everything I had". It was a second down play and it just happened so quick.

Further praising the Patriots, Brady continued, "I'm proud of our efforts throughout the year".

The biggest news leading up to the AFC Championship Game was the cut on Brady's right hand, though the team and the quarterback had very little to say about it.

Brady played in his eight Super Bowl last month, an accomplishment that is not lost on the quarterback.

Gronkowski returned to action in the Super Bowl and caught nine passes for 116 and two touchdowns, but the Patriots fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 41-33. Driving home from Gillette Stadium with his wife, Gisele Bundchen, Brady called Gronkowski to check in. The immediate task, though, is shifting gears away from February's Super Bowl loss to Philadelphia and toward his 19th National Football League campaign.

OK, we already knew this. The doctors checked it out, and we did the things just to kind of check on everything.

"I love the sport, I love the competition, I love my teammates, I love working with people that I love to work with", Brady said in the interview. Retirement sits on the horizon, but when he begins to drift poetic about football, Brady doesn't sound like a guy about to wander away from the gridiron. "But to me, it turned into a great series". You know, the drive got started, and we gained yards.

"That's probably one of the best moments I've had as a parent, because you really feel like you're parenting, you know?" The Late Show airs on WBZ-TV at 11:35 p.m.
