Spring is nearly here, and another update to Xbox One is not far behind.

The 1440p video output option is popular among the PC gamers, who prefer high frame rates over prioritizing 4K visuals. It falls between Full HD and 4K, offering more than a million and a half more pixels than 1080p.

For those who don't know, Mixer is Microsoft's competing service against the likes of Twitch. Viewer and streamer can work together in the game, or the viewer can cause trouble - resulting in hilarious chaos. "It's your choice!" says Microsoft. Mixer broadcasts will pause instead of stop when the streamer switches games. Last but not least, streamers can now begin their Mixer broadcasts from anywhere on the console, whether they're on the dashboard or within a game.

As for the rest, the Xbox One's Microsoft Edge browser is getting a new look and controller-friendly controls. Now, it can easily upload or download files. You can turn the game volume down and increase the music volume, and more.

Along with the new features listed above, the Spring update offers a number of other improvements, such as smarter dashboard feeds, new filtering tools for club owners, new audio balancing options and the ability to join or start tournaments without being a member of a club.
