These motor work in conjunction with a 90 kWh battery for a range of almost 300 miles.

The auto is the first all-electric SUV since Tesla unveiled its Model X in 2015.

Previously, the British brand revealed that the I-Pace can be charged to 80% capacity in just 45 minutes using a DC 100kW charger, promising great day-to-day usability. This location enables flawless 50:50 weight distribution and a low centre of gravity: together with the advanced double wishbone front and Integral Link rear axle with (optional) air suspension and configurable Adaptive Dynamics, this delivers agile handling and outstanding ride comfort.

In a live webcast from its manufacturing facility in Graz, Austria, Jaguar today revealed the highly anticipated production version of the I-PACE electric crossover.

With a "cabin forward" design theme and short front overhang, the I-PACE has wheelbase of 9ft 9ins making for plenty of room inside, a 656 litre boot and space for 25 litres more of cargo under the bonnet.

2018 Jaguar E-Pace First Review

The I-Pace will get its public debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, which takes place from March 8 to 18. Wireless "over-the-air" updates will also mean that every I-Pace always receives the latest software. With space at a premium in its United Kingdom plants Jaguar has contracted Austrian giant Magna-Steyr to build the vehicle.

Structured as something between a station wagon and sport utility vehicle, the I-Pace wheel base is 2.99 metres, and its length is 4.68 metres.

There will be nothing else on the road that looks or drives like the Jaguar I-PACE.

The I-Pace's battery comes with an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty that guarantees it will retain at least 70 percent of its original charge and driving range during that time. Jaguar has also equipped the I-Pace with regenerative braking, allowing the SUV to achieve optimum efficiency and range. The electric SUV uses the same radical dual-screen InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system that Jaguar launched on the Range Rover Velar. This will give the I-PACE a range of up to 298 miles (WLTP cycle). It also debuts Amazon Alexa Skill that allows you to ask the vehicle questions, for example about if you have enough charge to get to a certain destination. A special First Edition model will be available for only the 2019 model year. Designed from the outset as an electric vehicle, the I-Pace is built on a bespoke aluminum architecture that's said to deliver Jaguar's most torsionally rigid body structure, with 50:50 weight distribution.
