This Olympics provides such a stage for Vonn, who is skiing as well as she has since the last Olympics - which she missed with a bad knee.

Vonn is wearing gloves in high traffic zones like the media center, where she appeared for a press conference Friday at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.

In PyeongChang, Vonn will compete in downhill, super-G and the combined.

"I'm feeling much better, much more like myself", a relaxed Shiffrin told reporters on Saturday.

"I've always been in awe of the Olympics, especially 2002", she said. "Even though he had more wins, he had a different schedule than her and had many more opportunities and different risk tolerance".

"Either your skis are good or they're not, either your aerodynamics are good or not - it's really not something that's easy to change on a given day", said Miller, whose six medals makes him the most decorated American Olympic skier of all time.

She struggled, and it's clear that these emotions, so close to the surface, will provide the backdrop for her performances, which don't get under way until the Super-G on February 17.

Vonn confirmed she felt "really good", but added: "It's not really about me or my career, it's about my grandfather". I got Lucy, she travels with me everywhere.

Supreme Court Releases Majority Opinion in Redistricting Case
The court found the state's congressional district boundaries to be unconstitutionally gerrymandered to benefit Republicans. Pennsylvania's congressional districts have always been recognized as among the most gerrymandered in the United States.

Death of border agent still a mystery
Martinez's fiancée, Angela Ochoa, and his family have said they don't understand how the agent suffered such severe injuries. A spokesman for the National Border Patrol Council, the union that represented the officers, said it was an "ambush".

Google Drive Lets Users Easily Comment On Microsoft Office Files
Google says this emphasizes their focus on offering "interoperability between G Suite and Microsoft Office products". This is great because it's fewer tabs and fewer apps, both of which are wthings I'd prefer.

The men and women will compete on the same course for the first time in Olympic history.

Vonn's only regret is that her grandfather, Don Kildow, won't be able to watch her compete in the country in which he served in the US military.

Shiffrin, who is known for her work ethic, said that mental fatigue had also affected her and she had seen a sports psychologist to help with anxiety. Vonn said that this time she is trying "to soak in as much of the Olympic experience as I can".

"But I figured, she's always with me", Vonn said, "so I need her for the most important event". She has skied through personal strife and physical disaster. I want so badly to do well for him. "After this Olympics, I am going to go home, miss the next few world cups and I will meet everyone in Sweden for the finals".

The star skier tweeted that her plane had been hugely delayed, turning what is approximately a 14-hour trip (depending on the route) into a 24-hour disaster.

"You're insane", a flabbergasted Shiffrin said when asked about the comparison.

Jansrud's Norwegian teammate Aksel Lund Svindal, a three-time medallist in Vancouver, said the field was wide open. I ask them about guys and what I should do.

"Those two have always been friends". "So they try to find out how to win anyway, and that usually means cutting off a lot of distance, taking a lot of risk and that risk is not helpful". Linsdey Vonn has been an Olympian since she was a teenager.
