Asus to unveil Zenfone 5 at MWC 2018

While the company hasn't revealed any details about the smartphones that will be on the MWC show floor, the image on their website suggests the company to unveil the Zenfone 5 smartphones. Surprisingly, Asus now confirmed its presence at the upcoming MWC event.

As noted in the invite, the event will kick off at 19:30 CET and will be live-streamed. As you can see, it contains a text that reads #BACKTO5.

More specifically, a series of smartphones ASUS Zenfone 5 Series will be presented February 27 in the framework of the second day of MWC in Barcelona. This means, the smartphones will be camera-focused. Unfortunately, the name of the chipset is not specified.

As seen earlier, there will also be a bunch of smartphones in the Zenfone 5 lineup.

Nothing significant about Asus ZenFone 5 Lite has been leaked, but Mobiltelefon (in Russian) has reported that it has been certified in Russia, giving a hint that its release date may not be far off. Also in the invitation referred to Qualcomm, so in the new smartphone processors from MediaTek will not be exact.

Asus is also in rumours for developing the ZenFone 5 Lite that recently received a certification in Russian Federation.
