Since Turkey's decision to fight hand-in-hand with the FSA in northern Syria, in order to clear the region from Kurdish militants of PYD and the YPG, both considered as PKK branches by Ankara, the country has sent troops there. One of them, 17-year-old Fatma Avlar, died from her wounds, the agency said. Two of the victims were Syrian refugees.

"We go through great measures to deconflict", he said.

This is while USA officials regard the YPG as the most effective fighting force against the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group in northern Syria, and have substantially increased their weaponry and technology support to the terrorist group.

The military also said "utmost importance" is being placed on not harming any civilians.

North Atlantic Treaty Organisation ally Turkey views the YPG as an extension of the Kurdish insurgency it has battled for decades. Ankara claimed that its move was aimed at pushing Daesh Takfiri terrorists from Turkey's border with Syria and stopping the advance of Kurdish forces, themselves fighting Daesh.

"I don't want our partner to be distracted", said U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Paul Funk, referring to the Syrian Kurdish forces.

He put in a man-of-the-match performance on his debut in a 4-0 FA Cup victory over Yeovil Town at Huish Park on Friday night. A much sterner test awaits in the form of Tottenham in the league on Wednesday, but it was still encouraging for Sanchez.

Yildirim's remarks came in response to comments by French President Emmanuel Macron who warned Turkey against invading the northern Syrian enclave of Afrin.

A German-Kurdish player previously convicted of support for Kurdish separatists in Turkey has been banned for life, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said on Tuesday.

The Turkish Medical Association denounced the cross-border operation into Syria's Afrin last week, saying "No to war, peace immediately".

Manning said he did not know if the USA has agreed to stop arming and training its Syrian allies, another request by Turkey.

"If it turns out that this operation takes a turn other than to fight a potential terrorist threat to the Turkish border and becomes an invasion operation, (then) this becomes a real problem for us", Macron asserted in an interview with French news outlet Le Figaro on Wednesday.
