'Super Blue Blood Moon' Coming Tomorrow Morning - Set Your Alarm!

Finally, it'll be a blue moon, which is the second full moon in a calendar month.

The moon may appear nightly, but not usually like Tuesday night.

The next super blue blood moon anywhere won't be until New Year's Eve on December 2028, according to NASA.

And because the moon will be setting as the eclipse begins, you better get a good spot ahead of time.

"During a total lunar eclipse, the moon can turn red when the darkest part of the Earth's shadow falls on the moon", Glover explained.

Mr Trump claimed Mrs May invited him to the United Kingdom twice this year during their meeting at the Swiss ski resort. Many Britons noted that it wasn't really an apology; others said it was close enough.

What exactly is a super blood blue moon? This hasn't happened since 1982, and the next isn't expected until 2037.

The reddish tint - or blood moon - happens due to "the effect of all the sunrises and sunsets all around the planet reflecting off the moon, which I think is really lovely", said NASA astrophysicist Michelle Thaller. But because the lunar month - the time between two new moons - averages 29.530589 days, which is shorter than most months (with the exception of February), some years have 13 full moons, Live Science previously reported. The full Wolf moon will be in Perigee, the moon's closest approach to the earth. The second eclipse of 2018 won't be visible at all in the United States, according to NASA, and the next lunar eclipse visible from the valley won't happen until January 2019. "In Tamil Nadu, the moon rising time is 6.04 pm and from that time we can witness this celestial event", he said. "Since the moon is coming closer to the Earth, it is also called super moon and this is a rare event", said P.Iyamperumal, executive director, Tamil Nadu Science and Technology centre.

The total lunar eclipse won't be visible from East Tennessee, but there will still be a noticeable red-hued shadow forming on the bright canvas of the full super moon starting at 5:51 a.m. From Northern California, the northwest corner of Nevada, all of OR and Washington, the Idaho panhandle, as well as the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and most of Alberta, the moon will set after it completely exits the Earth's dark - umbral shadow (6:08 a.m. PST, 7:08 a.m. MST). It will spend 1 hour and 16 minutes in total eclipse, and 3 hours and 23 minutes in a partial eclipse.
