Woman returns dead Christmas tree much to other customers' surprise

One woman is causing a stir after she was caught on camera reportedly returning her "dead" Christmas tree to Costco for a refund, according toWFLA.

In case you were wondering: yes, it is possible to return dead Christmas tree to Costco post-Christmas, assuming you have the receipt and a bit of luck.

'I can't make this stuff up, ' he wrote.

While many of us were trying to figure out where to discard our Christmas trees, one California woman made a decision to return hers.

"If I didn't see it, I wouldn't believe that someone had so little moral values or lack of conscience", Bentley said, Fox 61 reported.

"She did get a refund - not happily though".

People on social media agreed with Bentley, calling the woman "cheap" and "disappointing". But I don't think it fazed her because she has no conscience.

The woman has not been identified, but she did give shoppers an idea for next year.

Costco is known for a generous refund policy under which any item barring electronics can be returned at any time within 90 days.

Another wrote: "Sister works for Costco, can confirm".
