Hide and seek for Mario and Luigi.

Thankfully, the damage has been minorly mitigated with the announcement in this morning's Nintendo Direct that Luigi will officially be entering Super Mario Odyssey as part of the game's first free DLC. Once players have beaten Super Mario Odyssey and download the free update, the new Balloon based challenge will be available. In the former, the player has 30 seconds to hide a balloon anywhere within the Kingdom they've began the mode in. In "Find It", you have 30 seconds to find other players' balloons. Doing well in these new modes will increase a player's rank on online leader boards.

Super Mario Odyssey DLC

For those who are on their journey to collect every last moon, Nintendo is bringing a new mini-game to Mario Odyssey to freshen things up and give players a little competitive spirit. Costumes include Sunshine Shades & Outfit, Musician Hat & Outfit, and Knight Helmet & Armor. Players can move up the rankings** by finding hidden balloons and becoming expert hiders.
