Razer's Project Linda Turns Your Razer Phone into a Laptop PC

This year's concept piece is called Project Linda (the company insists its code-names all have significant meaning, but won't say exactly what that is). The current prototype has a Full HD screen but the plan is to include a QHD, 120Hz display - an exact mirror of the Razer Phone's screen.

That's not all since Project Linda will differentiate itself from other smartphone docks by offering 2 key features: an internal battery and 200GB of storage space. Razer's project Linda aims to leverage the power of the Razer Phone and instantly transforms it into an Android based laptop PC. This turns your phone into a workstation terminal that is better suited to tasks like typing or even web meetings over Skype. So far nothing has been particularly great, but Razer's Project Linda is pretty exciting nonetheless.

Razer isn't the only company trying to expand the capabilities of Android smartphones. Connect a mouse for precise control and trigger actions quickly with the built-in keyboard. But Razer's take on this concept has the potential ot be more mobile and useful. This year, you can say hello to Project Linda, a laptop powered entirely by the Razer Phone.

Being the first device that officially supports both premium HDR10 and 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus, the Razer Phone will be given access to a special version of the Android Netflix app that enables users to enjoy the full scope of the two audio and video formats on their devices. It seems unlikely that this will replace traditional Windows or Mac laptops, but Razer is, of course, still making those as well.

During the crop season 2016-17 the total area sown was 6.14 Lakh hectares and the estimated production was 1.56 crore MT. Who will pay for the cold storage charges?" questioned Singh.

Whether customers agree or not remains to be seen, if and when Project Linda becomes a shipping product. This is the kind of concept that could take over the cheaper, entry-level laptop market.

Designed for mobility, the unibody CNC aluminium chassis of Razer Project Linda is just 0.59-inch (15 mm) thin and weighs three pounds (1.25 kg) including the docked phone.
