Acer will be offering both touch and non-touch versions of the Chromebook 11. Dubbed as Chromebook 11 CB311, the new laptop ships with USB-C port with the ability to deliver up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge of 100 percent.

We're only talking Celeron processing power, with integrated Intel HD Graphics 500, so although mum's the word on retail pricing at the moment, it's pretty obvious students and teachers will be able to easily afford these two. The highlight of the Acer Chromebook 11 CB311 is the addition of a fanless design, which helps the device to work silently in any environment. It will also be powered by Intel Celeron processor and pack USB Type-C ports.

The Chromebook 11 G6 Education Edition is "classroom-ready", as it's been ruggedized with co-molded rubber contact points.

The Chromebook 11 is outfitted with an 11.6-inch display that features a surprisingly low 1366×768 resolution, as well as options for touch and non-touch displays.

As with other recent Chromebooks, the Chromebook 11 supports the Google Play Store, so you get access to all the Android apps you could possibly want.

HP's last Chromebox was a hit in the Chrome OS community, but it released in 2014 and a lot has changed since then. There will be a few variants on sale of the device with 2GB or 4GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage and touch or non-touch screen option. The Chromebook 11 will also be available in EMEA countries with a starting price of €249 (around ₹18,930) in March, however, exact specifications, price and date of availability will be announced later.
