Patriots insist there's no rift between Kraft, Belichick and Brady

This week, ESPN released a report about the state of the New England Patriots after what has been a usual, but strange regular season for the franchise, especially after some of the moves and trades which they made.

When Garoppolo played well in 2016 with Brady suspended, Bill Belichick began to see Garoppolo as the final piece of his legacy in being able to compete without Brady. However, this move only led to more of an issue with the team. But several players told staffers and coaches that Guerrero gave them the impression that Belichick would no longer allow them to work with him.

By 2011, Guerrero had nevertheless become a key player behind the scenes at the Patriots, where he came up with numerous other supplements of dubious merit.

Meanwhile, Brady continued to say he had no plans of retiring and meant to continue playing into his mid-40s.

The surprising trade that took place just ahead of the National Football League trade deadline came out of nowhere. However, upon orders from Kraft, Belichick shipped Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2018 second-round pick. Belichick, who is not afraid to move on from a player past his prime, has allegedly continued to grow frustrated with his future Hall of Fame quarterback.

When will Snow Bomb Cyclone end stop?
The National Weather Service says the storm will probably intensify so rapidly that it will qualify as a "bomb cyclone". In Washington D.C., the federal government delayed opening offices on Thursday as blowing snow swirled in the capital.

Chelsea close to signing Everton's Barkley for £15m, according to reports
Chelsea are on the brink of clinching the signing of Ross Barkley after making a new bid for the Everton midfielder. Everton manager Sam Allardyce said on Thursday the club had been resigned to losing Barkley for some time.

While Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo were friendly and share the same agent, Brady didn't see it as his role to advise Garoppolo.

Brady's contract talks with Kraft were reportedly somewhat controversial, and with Garoppolo rejecting contract extension offers from the Patriots, Kraft eventually demanded Belichick trade him. He knocked; nobody was there. That split reportedly caused some confusion among Patriots players as to where to train and how that could have been perceived as picking one side over the other. As a forward-thinking head coach, Belichick is planning out what the team will do years down the line, which is part of the reason he has been so successful with New England. However, Schefter said Belichick will have to sit down with team owner Robert Kraft and long-time quarterback #Tom Brady to sort things that need to be ironed out before anything is finalized.

Despite the purported off the field issues, the Patriots have thrived on it.

The Patriots are unlikely to comment on this directly until their playoff run is over, which judging by the way they have been playing this season might not be until after the Super Bowl, just so that it isn't a distraction for the team.
