Philadelphia 76ers unveil 'City Edition' jerseys inspired by Declaration of Independence

On Wednesday, the Mavericks officially unveiled their "City Edition" Nike uniform, a look they are set the debut at home against the Portland Trail Blazers on January 26. The Bulls will wear the "city edition" when they host the Lakers at the United Center on January 26.

Now, the Sixers get to join that, but with a great script font, and a new "76" logo on the shorts.

Nike and the NBA formalized their partnership earlier this year, and Nike since has unveiled "Association", "Icon" and "Statement" uniforms for the league's 30 franchises in lieu of the traditional home, away and alternate versions.

From the Cleveland Cavaliers' jersey sporting "The Land", to "Motor City" appearing front and center on the Detroit Pistons jersey.

According to a team press release: The Timberwolves City Edition uniform follows the theme of "Bold North" which celebrates the area hosting Super Bowl LII on February 4, 2018.
