But West rapping "I made that bitch famous" in the final version of the song allegedly caught Swift by surprise - she says she never agreed to be referred to in such a derogatory manner.

Swifties were quick to jump on reality star Kim after she posted a throwback to the controversial 2016 Famous exhibition - which featured a naked Taylor in bed with Kimye and a selection of other stars.

But the move didn't go unnoticed by Swift's legions of fans - who promptly flooded Kardashian's Instagram with rat emojis. The picture is still on her profile and the comment section is still alive and well.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was then inundated with rat emojis by Taylor's angry fans.

And Taylor herself now appears to have responded in her typically indirect way, posting an image from her new Vogue shoot with lyrics to her track I Did Something Bad: 'I never trust a narcissist But they love me'.

Taylor would indirectly address the lyric a few weeks later in her 2016 Grammys acceptance speech, making it seem like she didn't approve of the lyrics in Kanye's song but in July, Kim insisted that Taylor had been notified about the song before it even came out.

In his song Famous, West sang: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex".

Kim then made a decision to release a recording of the audio online where Taylor could be heard calling the song a "compliment".

In a statement, a representative said: "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his "Famous" on her Twitter account".

The recording then went viral and Kim and Kanye have been at war with Taylor ever since.
